Cobain

Kurt Donald Cobain was born on 20th February 1967
in Aberdeen, Washington.

He had a happy childhood until his parents
divorced. His life changed and he became
depressed.
he left school.and because of this his mother
threw him out of the house. since then he was
homeless.
in the year 1986 he met krist Novoselic, with
him he founded the band nirvana.
1989 they recorded their first album bleach for
the label "sub pop".

in april '91 they signed with major label
"Geffen Records", a contract.
they began their second album nevermind.
in 92 Nirvana had great success with nevermind
and displaced Michael Jacksons "Dangerous" from
the top spot of the charts and was sold over 10
million time.

The single "Smells Like Teen Spirit" was the most heard song of the year.

Cobain and his girlfriend Courtney Love got married, and they got a little daugther Frances Bean Cobain.

In the end of year 1992 the third  album "Incesticide" was on the market.

Cobain get more and more depressed, the pressure of
the label and the sudden fame were too much for him.
With heroin, he tried to get better. he talked often in this time about suicide, his health was failing and
drug problems got worse.

 Nirvana worked in February 1993 for the fourth album "In Utero". It reached
number one immediately on the charts.

In March 1994, Cobain tried to kill himself. He got into a clinic, but he escaped from it. At home, he took

an overdose of heroin and shot himself. He was buried on 14th April 1994.

To date the authoroties don't want an official burial ground in Seattle. The garage where Kurt Cobain shot
himself, was demolished.
